With experience in enterprise scale data center management in a multiple data center environment, Scofield's knowledge in data center operations and processes is immense. His skill set includes: data center architectural design, large mechanical and electrical systems design and support, fire suppression systems, risk assessing, data center floor and rack management, physical space planning, physical security design and development, operational procedures and processes development, redundant system integration and support, and management of multiple data center facilities and operations in a 24/7 environment.

With nearly two decades of experience with Eastman, Scofield has spent the last 14 years in data center facilities and operations management roles. During this time, Scofield gained broad experience in large scale project management, playing key roles in data center disaster recovery planning and more recently, in the design and implementation of business continuity strategy. Other experience includes project involvement and leadership in data center design and construction, synchronous data replication strategies, change management coordination, as well as data center physical security design and planning.

Scofield is a member of AFCOM, a leading association for data center professionals, offering services to help support the management of data centers around the world. He holds a "Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management" - ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) Certification.
